I wrote the song in 2014 as a gift for my friend whose mom, Ineke, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and this year I decided to release the song and donate a portion of the funds to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. I produced the track with my husband, Sean who recorded and mixed the song at our recording studio, the Blue Grotto. Gary Lunn (Dolly Partson, Michael W Smith, Nichole Nordeman) contributed bass and Kyle Buchanan (Cindy Morgan, Ginny Owens, Andrew Greer) played guitar.
